Within my first year at PCPA, I was able to confidently sketch an image and practice shade and highlight. The original image was printed to become a transparent so that I may project on the marble I painted.

During my second year, we were taught how to have depth and multitude of colors so that the painting was very versatile under lights. We were given an image of a foliage painting as our base to go off of.

I built the cube which was a 1'x1'x1'. Chose a theme of "under the sea" for the cube. Cut out the shell shape handles with a jigsaw. Upholstery the seat with the fabric of my choice. Painted and gave it a gloss sealer.

During my summer internship as a scenic painter with PCPA, there was down time near the end of summer and we were able to pick a postcard to paint. We had two days to complete this fun side project.
